Elite Throws Movies from Ringwood

In Nov 2005, the Throws coaching staff and a few lucky athletes went over to Ringwood to watch Gus Puopolo (Australian National Throws coach) train his elite athletes prior to the Commonwealth Games in 2006. They graciously consented to being filmed. Here are some excellent clips demonstrating good technique for discus and shot put - standing throws, spin & glide.

They are all Quicktime mov format and should stream in your web browser. However if you download the files and have Quicktime or VLC installed (see the links below) you can enlarge and step through each frame to examine the techniques moment by moment. Which I advise you do.
